A fox sat in a tree, her balance strong. One eye was half-blinded and scared a bit, but didn't seem to bother the animal. It let out a chirp-bark to the rising moon.
'Another sleepless night... Dammit.I can't just keep to this tree all night... And I can't get that message out of my mind. Kuso...Daijoubu, Locnil...? I miss you.' she says in her bark. She hadn't slept out of worry, no matter how much the birds would sing to her to relax, telling the fox she would be okay, and so would her lover. However, their words seemed to reach deaf ears of the fox. She didn't know what to do, and stayed either on the roof of the cabin or in the tree in the front yard. It was hard for her to sleep, jumping at each sound. She retired after time to sleeping during the day, and she didn't keep track of time. She despretly reached out for the moon at night, allowing it to keep her mind's secrets. Only the moon knew how pained she was at being alone. Se didn't blame anyone for it. If anyone, she blamed herself for fighting with Luna. It was hard to be all alone, considering she was still young. She had the mental age that Locnil had, but she did have other things in her mentality as well. Maybe Luna was going to come back... maybe not.
But Roxas knew she couldn't keep her strength up too much longer before she hurt herself by accident. She had seen no one she knew at all, and didn't venture very far. Only when she hunted did she leave the place at all, and their home was surrounded by a wood. Maybe in time, she'd get the visions out of her head.
(If you don't recall, in the lives that Xavier tried to take Roxas as his mate, he'd weaken her mentally by leaving her all alone for very long periods of time. This is what she hates.)
The Fox watched the skies... hoping for someone to come.
